EMIMEP is a two-year international master course centred on microwave engineering and photonic technologies preparing a new generation of engineers for the next decade. EMIMEP is fully taught in English and delivers a joint diploma.

The master is the renewal of EMIMEO (flagship of best practices in the European Union).

EMIMEP is based on excellence and it is a concrete solution to the increasing demand for highly qualified talents to foster academic and industrial innovation.

In the frame of the Erasmus Mundus program, EMIMEP offers a joint academic program at 4 renowned European universities: University of Limoges (FR), University of Brescia (IT), University of the Basque Country (SP) and Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena (DE).

EMIMEP offers Erasmus Mundus scholarships equivalent to 1400 euros/month for two years.

EMIMEP will also cover the following costs: Full-time tuition fee / Health & Travel insurance / Social events / Participation in the Research and Industrial Week, the European Microwave Week in the EMIMEP Summer School and all seminars from industries and Research Institutes.

The student applications are now open. Applicants with a Bachelor's diploma in Electronic Engineering, telecommunication engineering, photonics or applied physics are eligible to apply for EMIMEP.
