Every summer and winter semester, Rhine-Waal University offers the Master’s programme in Economics and Finance (M.Sc.).

The Economics and Finance M.Sc. is a consecutive degree programme that builds upon your undergraduate background in economics and business studies. It is designed to consolidate your existing knowledge while equipping you with advanced qualifications in the fields of finance and economics.

The programme provides cutting-edge methods, applications, and models used in economics, corporate finance, and the analysis of international financial markets. Through experiments in game theory, behavioural economics, and empirical market analysis, you will acquire and apply sophisticated research methodologies. The multidisciplinary curriculum not only explores legal and economic issues, but also addresses key macroeconomic and social challenges. This comprehensive approach enables you to critically assess and evaluate economic developments in financial and competitive markets at both national and international levels.

The programme is taught entirely in English. Throughout your studies, you will gain the advanced knowledge and analytical skills needed to operate confidently in international economic and financial environments. Upon graduation, you will be well-prepared to take on expert roles in global markets, institutions, or research settings as a highly qualified professional in economics and finance.
