Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) in Applied Cybersecurity (CyberMACS) - in English - Kadir Has University, Turkey (Co-ordinator)

CyberMACS is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree (EMJM) in Applied Cybersecurity, offering 120 ECTS. The program is delivered by a consortium of universities from Turkey, Germany, and North Macedonia, with support from industry partners.

It aims to train future cybersecurity professionals in detecting, preventing, and managing cyber-attacks through a combination of theoretical and practical learning.

The granting authority is the European Education and Culture Executive Agency, under the powers delegated by the European Commission.

The first year focuses on core cybersecurity topics, while the second year offers specialization opportunities, including participation in joint Winter and Summer Schools.

These events provide hands-on learning through workshops, lectures and networking opportunities with industry experts. Industry partnerships offer internships, company visits, and input into course content, enhancing students' employability and ensuring alignment with real-world cybersecurity needs.

The program emphasizes soft skills like entrepreneurship alongside cybersecurity training and culminates in a master's thesis. Students benefit from studying at two of the consortium universities, earning degrees from both institutions.

Participating universities are known for academic excellence, practical training, and cutting-edge research in fields such as cryptography, network security, and ethical hacking.

The program fosters collaboration with experts through conferences and research projects, further enriching the learning experience. Recognized by the Erasmus+ Program as a top-tier master's course, CyberMACS provides students with a robust foundation in cybersecurity, preparing them for careers in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Note: Application for the 2026/2027 session closes on December 15th, 2025.
