Sustainable Development Management Programs in Europe
Rhine-Waal University (HSRW), Kleve, Germany

Every winter and summer semester the Rhine-Waal University offers the Master's program Sustainable Development Management (M.A.).
Sustainable Development Management is a consecutive degree program that expands upon your undergraduate foundation in social sciences, economics and industrial engineering.
The program aims to provide a broad perspective in order to contribute to the debate about sustainable development, and prepares you with up-to-date methods to implement successful development projects.
The program prepares future professionals both in the public and private sector, who are enabled to play a part in the implementation of the 17 sustainable development goals, thereby contributing to create a more equitable and sustainable world.
Each year we offer a limited number of full scholarships through EPOS, a program financed by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) for development-related postgraduate courses. Students from developing countries with a qualifying above average degree in social sciences, economics or industrial engineering and two years of relevant professional experience are welcome to apply.
Note: The next EPOS scholarship application period is from May 1st to June 1st 2025 for a start in 2026 (summer semester or winter semester). For more information on the selection criteria and the application process of EPOS, visit our website.
Note: The application period for the upcoming winter semester (beginning in October 2025) without an EPOS scholarship starts in mid-May 2025 and ends on July 15th, 2025.
