Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management, Organization and Business Economics
The Master of Science (MSc) program in Management in Organization, Business, and Economics (MMOBE) is accredited with the “Excellent Accreditation” by AQU (Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency), a registered agency by EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education). This accreditation confirms the program’s outstanding alignment with European Higher Education Standards.
This comprehensive one-year program requires full-time dedication from participants, equivalent to 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits.
The primary goal of the program is to provide specialized advanced training in business research, with a strong emphasis on international perspectives.
The curriculum builds upon economic approaches to studying organizations, with a significant focus on economics, statistics, and research methods. Excellence is the main feature of the MMOBE program along with diversity. In the academic years 2024-25, the twenty-four students participating in the program represented 16 different nationalities. Collaboration and respect for beliefs, religious, moral, or cultural principles and gender differences are the governing principles of the MMOBE program.
The program is jointly organized by three highly esteemed Spanish university departments specializing in this field. Teaching sessions are conducted at two university campuses located in Barcelona and Pamplona respectively: Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona from October to April, and Universidad Pública de Navarra from April to May. Furthermore, theses defences are held at the University of the Balearic Islands campus in early September.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a diploma that recognizes their engagement with all three universities. Top performing participants will also be offered the opportunity to pursue a PhD in management, organization or business economics at one of the three universities.
This program offers a comprehensive internationally-oriented education for aspiring researchers and professionals in the field of management and economics.
Admission requirements
Undergraduate degree in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer sciences or related fields.
English equivalent to the upper intermediate level B2.1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is recommended.
