EuroEducation Net acts as ‘’controller’’ of the personal data you provide through our websites: euroeducation.net, ceebd.co.uk, educateabroad.net, studymastersonline.net and their sub-pages.

You may navigate our websites without providing any personal data, however, if you wish to receive information from the universities listed on our websites or subscribe to our newsletter, you will need to provide your personal information.

What information we collect?

We collect information from you when you fill out a request for further information form or subscribe to our mailing list. The legal basis for the processing is consent. You may at any time withdraw your consent by contacting the Privacy Manager. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.

Any data we request that is not required will be specified as voluntary or optional.

What do we use your information for?

The information you provide may be used for the following:
  • To share information submitted via the request for further information form to the university it was intended to
  • To send you periodic emails, if you agree to receive such information
If you have opted-in to receive our email newsletter we will use your email address and name to send you information on degree courses and related educational products or services. We do not retain any personally identifiable information other than your email address and your name.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

Your personal data will only be shared with the learning provider you have chosen to engage with via our websites. For example, when you submit a request for further information to an institution, your details relating to that enquiry will be provided to the institution so that they may answer your enquiry directly. The information may also be used to send you additional newsletters and e-mails, provided you have opted in to receive such information.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to other third parties your personally identifiable information. However, we may release your information when we believe release is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. Furthermore, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

You have the right to restrict processing when you have exercised one of the above right and it may take some time to process that request. For example: when you contact us to update your details you have the right to request restriction until your details are updated.

For the processing activities where we have asked you for consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any point by clicking on the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by contacting the Privacy Manager.

The right to object

Right to not be subject to automated decisions and profiling

None of our processing activities are purely automated. There are instances where we process data to analyse or predict behaviour but we will ask you for explicit consent when this processing will involve your personal data.
