The Major in International Tourism Management programme prepares graduates with extended up-to date knowledge, expertise, and practical skills necessary to work in the general service sector and specifically in the tourism industry.

Our education system combines scientific knowledge and skills with the latest industry cases and examples, which enables our graduates to work in a variety of professional management positions in the private or public sector.

The program is practical orientated and prepares students for a successful professional career.

Knowledge and skills for the global job market

The programme is founded on a scientific learning approach and combines numerous teaching methods. The modules involve university lecturers from Switzerland and abroad, as well as professional tourism industry experts. Several modules have excursions to companies and destinations in Switzerland and internationally.

Professional experience included

The part-time structure of the programme means our students can be employed up to 50% while studying. We also offer a professional internship in the Swiss tourism industry.

International

Our students have the opportunity to enrol into a second degree on the basis of study abroad programme offered in cooperation with our partner, Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland, Great Britain.

    If you wish to complete the programme in three semesters, our new schedule is for you. It is intense and compatible with professional activity of one to 1.5 days per week.

    In addition to the duration of study and depending on your needs, you can also choose between a start date in spring or in autumn.
