Admission requirements	Students should have an initial knowledge of Russian history and geography. They are also expected to be familiar with basics of political science, including comparative studies. Good command over English is necessary as all the courses are run in English. No prior knowledge of Russian is required.

Program Overview

The semester program offers a wide variety of courses in economics & finance, sociology, political science, international relations and Russian studies. The students may choose among near 100 semester & year courses taught in English. The courses vary in duration, initial requirements and types of classes.

The program is elaborated in accordance with international standards of the Bologna-Criteria and gives students an opportunity to get up to 30 ECTS. Throughout the program academic studying is accompanied by a series of educational field trips, excursions and visits, which are also supported by ECTS.

Program structure

The program is composed of 1 major lecture/seminar course and five optional ones. The mandatory part provides students with essentials of the chosen specialization. The optional part of the program offers students opportunities to have a closer study of specific aspects of their main specialization and other areas for their choice.

The whole program is taught in English.

Apart from the in-depth academic studying, the program includes tours to Moscow and nearby areas of historical significance and cultural interest as well as political, non-governmental and business organizations. Thereby, students are provided with a hands-on opportunity to get a sense of how the latter work in practice, experience the historical beauty of Russia and feel a “pulse” of modern Russian lifestyle.
