MBA European Management


The MBA programme European Management at the EIABM (European Institute for Advanced Behavioural Management) at Saarland University has been teaching state-of-the-art scientific management skills for more than 30 years. It is the oldest university MBA programme in all of Germany.

The programme focuses on Europe and International Management with an emphasis on behavioural marketing and management. The focus is set on the behaviour of people and markets.

The entire curriculum of the MBA programme is offered exclusively in English. It can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis and comprises 15 courses as well as a master thesis. All courses can also be booked individually as certified advanced education courses.

A total of 6 modules teach the most important aspects of modern management:
  • Management Basics
  • European Basics
  • Financial Management
  • Marketing & Management
  • Operations Management
  • Behavioural Management (Verhaltensorientiertes Management)
The 15 courses are taught as block courses usually from Wednesday to Saturday. Up to 3 of these courses run as so called “International Weeks” at other European partner universities abroad.

Field trips, lectures, case studies and company visits enable students to deepen and apply theoretical knowledge and to interact with international students, practitioners and scholars.

The MBA European Management provides an excellent selection of topics and lecturers that prepare graduates for making a remarkable contribution to the success of national and global companies.

Courses are taught by renowned professors from Saarland University as well as from other recognized universities in Germany and other European countries. The programme is completed with a master thesis on an innovative and relevant topic in management and marketing research.

In multinational small groups, participants of the MBA programme gain expertise in all areas of modern business management in an intercultural learning atmosphere.

A high degree of practical relevance and internationality, both of the study programme and of the students, state-of-the-art scientific application, practical and professional orientation, interdisciplinarity, an individual qualification profile and the teaching of responsible action at the heart of the programme guarantee an excellent qualification at the highest level.

The excellent quality of the MBA European Management programme was reconfirmed in 2019 with the UdS Quality Passport and awarded the seal of the Accreditation Council.
