Superb facilities create an inspiring atmosphere
As one of the leading new universities in the UK, we provide our students with first-class learning and teaching facilities.
Since 2004 we will have invested close to £350m in estates, equipment and staff.
We're putting the finishing touches to a brand new Students' Union building at City site. You'll enjoy 5,500 square metres of social, leisure and well-being facilities. As well as being the new home for the Students' Union, it's a great place to meet friends, get advice, have a work out or just relax. As part of this development we've created over 900 student bedrooms. What a fantastic student location!
We've also invested a massive £90 million in the regeneration of two Grade II listed buildings, Newton and Arkwright, at the heart of the City site. These landmarks have been revamped, while keeping their historic beauty, with an ultra-modern Central Court now linking them.
We've also poured £4.2 million into refurbishing Boots library. You'll find a wide range of resources, both print and online, as well as IT facilities, and group and individual study spaces.
IT facilities are available on-campus 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Wireless Internet connectivity is available across all campuses.
