Has an Assignment Ever Made You Cry?

University professors aren't famous for their mercifulness and kind nature. Perhaps, only some of them are. But you're a lucky human being, so you've got the worst torturer. At least that's what it seems to you.

An assignment that you simply can’t figure out might drive you into the pit of stress. A load of these tasks can get you to the final destination of depression. Students' mental health is a hot topic discussed very actively worldwide nowadays. How can you cope with that load of work without help?

Let's talk about the ways you can protect yourself from stress and mental health damage. You can free yourself from a necessity to do everything by yourself and just avail to some assignment helpservices.

Some people may tell you to relax and get your mind off these disturbing things. “Just chill, bro” appears the worst advice anybody can ever give you. A though you didn't know it! Stress comes without asking your permission, and you have to put so much effort into getting out of it.

When you are in pain, you can take a pill, and it'll go away. But when it comes to emotional struggles, it is much more complicated than that. So, we won't tell you we understand what you're being through. And we won't tell you that everything is going to be alright, and that it's just a phase. These phrases won't make any sense.

It often happens that when you're in such a distressed emotional state, you feel like nobody gets you. You call your parents because you're sure those people care the most. But your mom will just say that you need to sleep more and eat better. It's good advice in general, but it's not what you need. Perhaps, we can provide you with the tips which will be really helpful.

The Reason for Students' Burnout

Psychologists explain burnout as a state when you feel emotional and physical exhaustion. You lack a desire to do anything. It starts affecting your social life on a grand scale, makes you irritated and even cynical.

But you are a student, and it means you are young, ambitious, and have the whole life ahead. Why would you feel depressed?

The study reports that 5% of students who have experienced burnout claim that the reason lies in either physical or mental issues. The other 5% have some problems with professors. And 13% feel the lack of personal motivation. The quarter of students claim their emotional state has nothing to do with university per se. Their anxiety is caused by the outside influences like family or financial issues. And a half of students feel massive burnout because of assignment overload.

So, trust me, you're not alone.

What Can You Do About It?

No challenge has ever led to anything good. Seriously, have you heard that kids are eating Tide Pods nowadays as a part of an Internet dare? This is ridiculous. But you're a college student, and this fact must indicate that you're more or less smart. Therefore, you won't get involved in any kind of challenges, right?

And I'm talking about the courses you’re taking now. Don't try to juggle too many of them at the same time. Will it help you become a better professional? It won't if you have a couple of mental breakdowns per week.

That leads us to the next tip. By the way, that's exactly what your mom was talking about. Food, sleep, and exercise. Oh dear, I will tell you something from my own university experience and I'm sure all doctors will back me up on it.

You can't go on with your life if you sleep 4-5 hours per night for a very, very long period of time. Firstly, you won't be nearly as effective and productive as you hope you will. So, you won't be able to do all the necessary assignments. Secondly, it will have a negative impact on your physical and mental health. The immune system reacts to the lack of sleep in the worst way possible, and a regular cold will put you to bed for three weeks.

And if you keep sitting all day long working on that huge load of assignments, don't forget about exercising. You will always have time to get back to your studies, but it never works this way with health. So, bear this truth in mind.
