Length of course BSc (Honours) degrees are four years, including a sandwich year of placement in industry. Foundation degrees are two years full-time and three years part-time.
Date of commencement Full-time and part-time courses begin in September.
Accommodation Student accommodation is available throughout the city centre. More information is available from the Accommodation Office.
Admission requirements Undergraduate courses: IELTS 6 Qualification points vary for each course.


The School of Computing and Management Sciences

The School is internationally recognised for its up-to-date courses in computing and management sciences at HND, FdSc and BSc levels. We work closely with employers to plan our courses and give them a strong vocational bias that has proved an asset to graduates in a competitive job market. Our courses are accredited by professional organisations such as the British Computer Society, Microsoft, CISCO, Oracle, SAP, and SAS. Currently there are 2,400 students in the School, 1,900 at undergraduate level and 500 at postgraduate and research level. Despite its size the School provides a friendly and lively environment in a new high-technology city centre campus. As a student you will have access to a wide range of teaching facilities, including state of the art laboratories and the award winning Adsetts Centre.
