MBA Programme
Our MBA programme is externally accredited by the Association of MBAs, a superb mark of quality. The programme is recognised and valued internationally for commitment to excellence in professional practice, and its rigour in preparing you for a demanding leadership role.
Our MBA is a one-year full-time programme demanding focus, aspiration and commitment. Set in a unique, rural environment on the west coast of Wales (UK), the programme enables you to reassess your career direction and reflect constructively on previous professional experience.

Our MBA programme is designed to provide you with maximum flexibility and application, in either the public or the private sector. The programme offers ten core modules and two elective modules providing you with a theoretical framework of professional management practice. The theoretical aspects of the modules are taught but much of the learning is attributed to practical problem-solving, small-group seminars, team-work and case-study analysis.
Team work is an essential element of your MBA success. At SMB Aber, we offer you direct experience of the rural environment with challenging, out-door activities. Your experience in rural Wales will enable you to develop the attitude and skills required to work successfully in a team. Your experience in rural Wales will enable you to apply the attitude and skills acquired throughout the MBA programme.
You will also have the opportunity to develop two managerial reports. One managerial report will focus on your own skills development. The other managerial report will focus on the development of a management solution, in negotiation with academics and professionals from business and industry.

Masters in Finance Programmes
At SMB Aber, we offer you a select portfolio of Masters in Finance Programmes:

These programmes are exclusively designed to offer you the choice of either specialisation or research training, with the research training option providing progression into PhD studies.
Our Masters in Finance programmes welcome students from related academic disciplines. You will have the opportunity to develop exceptional knowledge and professional skills relating to Finance. You will have the opportunity to combine your understanding of Finance in practice with related disciplines in Management and Business. You will have the opportunity to develop your own unique combination of skills and knowledge to achieve your career aspirations. Our MSc. Accounting and Finance provides you with the opportunity to study Financial Accounting,
Finance, Finance Policy and Empirical Methods used in Finance, as core modules.
You will also have the opportunity to select complementary modules in related disciplines
such Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, to develop
your career interests.
Our MSc International Finance provides you with the opportunity to study Finance, International Finance and Policy, International Business and in Empirical Methods used in Finance, as core modules. You will also have the opportunity to select complementary modules in related disciplines such as International Management or Accounting, to develop your career interests.
